Scaling


Being one of the strongest Viltrumites -  a species among the most dangerous out there - it should be no surprise that Nolan scales to almost all noteworthy feats in Invincible. He's not the top dog, sure, but can still put up a fight against the series' best.
  • Outrun ran from Los Angeles, California to Utah in a short timeframe (At least Massively Hypersonic)
  • OmegaJacket's plasma waves created huge craters across North America (Likely Large Island level+)

Weaknesses


While Viltrumites aren't totally infalliable, they really don't have many specific weaknesses. Sure, special biological agents can get past their usual immunities to such things, but that's hardly a problem here. Nolan's only true Achilles heel is that sonic vulnerability. High-pitched frequencies can disrupt his equilibrium to prevent flight, along with causing crippling pain and damage, even death given enough time.

Feats

Overall

  • Conquered planets and slaughtered their people (Death Battle's one of the rare shows you can brag about this), including one by himself
  • Killed Dodoria's elite guards while getting jumped 4v1
  • Blew past hundreds of Freeza's soldiers to reach Freeza in the upper atmosphere/outer space (See Before the Verdict)
  • Saw his son becoming the strongest Saiyan in history (until retcons) and fighting Freeza
  • Not the worst dad in Dragon Ball

Power

  • Crushed a Dodoria guard's skull with a sledgehammer (see above)
    • Snapped another one's neck
  • Can disintegrate people with his Ki blasts, including two members of Dodoria's squadron

Scaling



Bardock surpassed most of the Saiyans and other fighters in the universe. While certainly far below major characters later in the story - whose power levels went well into the hundreds of millions and then some - Bardock surpasses every feat shown in the original Dragon Ball anime, and should be comparable to some from the early Z era. This is especially true with his Great Ape form, which should multiply his power level like other transformations do.

There's a bit more to go over though. Being "pretty close to 10,000" and surviving Dodoria's mouth blast means Bardock can potentially downscale from characters at or above 10,000. However, this is a clear high-end; the exact difference between power levels is very inconsistent, and Dodoria still nearly killed Bardock (likely without going all-out given his lack of fatigue after). Regardless, Great Ape Bardock would be far above Vegeta at that time, excluding the latter's own transformation. 

Base

  • Yamcha dodged Chi-Chi's laser, which the Great Complete Collection states is a beam of light (FTL; Outlier, See Before the Verdict)

Weaknesses


Aside from being a genocidal jackass, Bardock has his fair share of flaws, which should be apparent already. His tail presents a somewhat intuitive weakspot which can leave him helpless; this applies for the full moon triggering his transformation too. Future sight hurts way more than it helps, and Ki is a limited resource powering Bardock's abilities...and, you know, keeping him alive.

Death Battle Prediction: Gru Vs. Megamind Is the Matchup Good? In another first for this blog, I can answer with a resounding yes. And boy does the show need it right now. 4 months of lackluster shonen matchups and episodes were soul-draining. Death Battle Prediction: Captain Planet's Matchups Go Down to Zero If Death Battle was based. (credit to IncinaNeverDies on DeviantArt) Is the Matchup Good? My thoughts on this matchup are kinda similar to Ichigo Vs. Yusuke; good in a vaccum, bad with context.  Like that one, the theme's both unique and solid. Sure, elemental matchups are pretty common, but they almost always center around one compared to many. It also presents more variety for the animation, which could have some really cool usage of the environment. Aside from the obvious 'multi-element main character' connection, both fighters also traveled the world to learn usage of different elements and got the Ash Williams treatment (well, alt-universe Ash, I guess).
